The Medvedgrad beer hall and brewery was founded in 1994, as the first mini-brewery and beer hall in Zagreb. It attracted customers thanks to its high-quality home-made beer and a wide offer of traditional meals. With affordable prices and good service, it soon became a favourite place for Zagreb’s beer lovers and its good reputation quickly spread through Croatia. On November 19, 1996, Croatia’s first beer-lovers’ club was founded in the Medvedgrad, with the aim of promoting the centuries old European tradition of brewing and drinking beer. The beer we serve at Medvedgrad and Mali Medo beer halls is produced in units manufactured by Pivovara Medvegrad. It is not filtered and has no preservatives or artificial ingredients. The high-quality beer, which boasts a full flavour, bouquet and colour, can satisfy the most demanding connoisseurs, and can equal the best beers in the world.

Konobar (waiter) is a collab beer, named after the song of the same name from famous Croatian punk rock band Hladno pivo. It is an excellent representative of West Coast IPA style. It features 6 fresh hop varieties (Columbus, Cascade, Chinook, Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe) for citrusy and fruity notes and subtle bitter finish, rounded with light caramel and malty sweetness.
